thats the date btw, anyway,
I drew this up yesterday to test some shading on folds and stuff, its really fun! and i wnated to see how color pencils would work with the pencil.
not very good...

Sweet!! I started out with dry color - LOVED FC Polychromos and Derwent pastel pencils. They're totally fuss-free, compared to watercolor or gouache. But I had a tendency to smear my drawings a lot so I had to restrict them to sketchbooks or spray fixative over them T__T. Anyway, I liked that pencils are able to afford a great amount of detailed work, if it lacks the fluidity of brushes.
I see you did a lot of transparent layering in this. I prefer quick burnishing, probably just because I'm a terribly impatient artist >_<. Good job --- you skills really have improved! As for the legs thing, I think the anatomical emphasis is kind of interesting. My POV ^__^.
