"Je veux aller ŕ l'école"
Studies in Reconciliation, 2012

I'm naming this whole range of collections "Studies in Reconciliation" after my reflection on my designs style (read here: [link])

Well, the colors I'm not so fond of, but I wanted to try going out of my comfort zone - not sure how that played out though.

Asking for honest opinions and critiques! I do love comments like "I'd love to wear that" (keep them coming ;3) but if you have more to say, whether good or bad please do share. They're called "Studies" for a reason!

in your 13th picture , i really like the jacket but the pant doesn't the top , it's a pity , the top is cool !
in 8th picture , the shirt give a bad effect to the pant , it looks like a pyjama ^^!
in 17th picture , the fabric is pretty but the dress is too geometric !

I think you should emphasize more shapes in your next drawings and your old drawings are better than those sincerely ....

I've never liked weird patterns on clothing. I don't like modern art either, so maybe that has something to do with it. I just think it ends up looking so ugly. I do really like the 2nd dress in the last row. I think 1-2 colors in a piece of clothing (excluding white, black, or off-white) are better for random patterns or shapes.

Although I have been surprised by things I didn't really like, but then tried on and found it wasnt as bad as I thought, but just my thoughts!

I actually really most of these! There's only one that I don't really like the color combination of; the 5th dress in the bottom row.

My favorites have to be: the 2nd and 4th outfit in the first row, the last jacket of the first row, and the 6th outfit!

Really nice and a different style for you. I would critique it but at this stage it's very hard to! I think you're right about the colors, they seem a little varied. It almost looks like two different collections put together. But, then again I prefer a cleaner color palette. I've seen a lot of fashion designers use several different color combinations in their shows, so it's really your own style and preference. My favorite is the long white dress on the bottom row, and the dress that is second from the last.
